GENERAL SAFETY & WELFARE INFORMATION

Information for the 2021 Regatta is now available for download below.

Key points to note.

The Regatta this year is based at Remenham Farm, the same site as the Henley Women's and Masters' Regattas.
All vehicles should approach the site from the A4130 at the top of Remenham Hill.  Don't drive along Remenham Lane past Remenham Club and Upper Thames RC.
Please appoint one club rep to register and collect numbers for all members of your club.
Be sure to understand and comply with the navigation rules on your way to the start, especially below Temple Island.
There are minimal land facilities on the site, so bring your own trestles and catering.

COVID-19 INFORMATION & PROCEDURES

To ensure the safety and welfare of everyone involved in the Regatta, we require all attending clubs and participants to follow these procedures.  A pdf copy can be downloaded below.

CLUB COVID OFFICER

Each club must appoint a Club Covid Officer as the main point of contact with the Regatta on Covid-19 matters.  It is a condition of entry that each participating club provides the name, email and phone number of this Club Covid Officer when their entries are made.

This person must:

Maintain an accurate record of contact details for all competitors, coaches, support crew and other helpers attending the Regatta from their club.  This information should be retained for 21 days in line with NHS Test and Trace guidelines.

Be available to liaise with the Regatta’s Covid Officer and Welfare Officer during the Regatta and for 14 days afterwards.

Ensure that anyone representing their club complies with the Regatta’s Covid-19 rules and procedures.

Ensure that no-one from their club attends the Regatta if they, or anyone in their household or support bubble, has Covid-19 symptoms, is isolating, or has tested positive for Covid-19 and is still within the ten-day isolation period.

Inform the Regatta’s Covid Officer if anyone from their club who attended the Regatta develops Covid-19 symptoms, or tests positive for Covid-19 within 48 hours of attending.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Government guidelines relating to Covid-19 must be followed at all times, including when travelling to and from the Regatta.

Clubs should provide their own supplies for sanitising boats and equipment, and for personal hand sanitising.

Face coverings must be worn in any enclosed area such as the registration or prize tents.

Please observe social distancing and respect the health needs of others around you.

The Regatta’s operational plans have been approved by the relevant authorities and comply with the Covid-19 guidance currently in place.  If this guidance changes before the Regatta, we will update our guidance on the Regatta website and inform Club Covid Officers by email.
