INFORMATION FOR SPECTATORS
Racing commences at 9.00am and runs continuously throughout the day, with the last race by about 7.00pm. There there is knock-out racing for many classes of boat, divided into three 'divisions' through the day. with finals at the end of each division. The timetable and draw showing all events and race times is available on the Competitors page.
The last race of the day is often the decider in determining the Victor Ludorum, the club that achieves the greatest success across the whole day, who win the Peter Sutherland Cup. This is just one of the Regatta's large collection of wonderful trophies, some of which can be seen here. All of the crew members of the winning boat in each event also receive a medal to take home with them.
Directions and parking
The regatta site is a short walk from the railway station or town centre - walk over the bridge and turn left along the towpath past Leander Club. The main enclosure is approx. 300m ahead.
By car - cross the bridge from the town centre and take the first left turn into Leander Way (post code RG9 2LP for satnav users), go straight ahead to the main gate of Lion Meadow. Car park stewards will direct you to the relevant parking areas.
Disabled parking - please make yourself known to the car park stewards and you will be parked appropriately.

PLEASE NOTE : The car park is locked at 8.00pm on Saturday, and does not reopen until Monday morning.

Henley's T&V Regatta is the only event of the year at which the public can picnic and relax by the river on the magnificent riverside lawns owned by the Royal Regatta. It is a family-friendly event that offers refreshments and rides aboard the majestic umpire launches.
It's also the only regatta on the Henley Reach to run 3-abreast racing and it attracts over 200 crews from clubs near and far, including Oxford, London and often much further afield.
The regatta has existed for over 150 years, originally created to sit alongside the world-renowned Royal Regatta by offering events for rowers of all abilities.
You can bring family or friends, whether you're an avid rowing fan or just wanting to enjoy a day out by the river, without needing to worry about the cost or what to wear.
